You yourself determine who may access your personal health record

The medical data in your Evita healthcare dossier belong to you. This means that you yourself decide who has access to them. This also means that you yourself have access to your medical information at any time. If you so wish, you can authorise third parties (e.g. members of your family) to grant other people (e.g. a doctor) access to your data if necessary. As a result you yourself do not have to worry about granting access rights, e.g. on referral to a specialist. However, you always maintain an overview and control over the access rights granted, can view at any time who has access to your details, and can withdraw previously granted access rights or add new ones. In addition to individual access rights, you also have the option of making healthcare data visible to yourself only.

 

You have access to your data at any time

Your healthcare data are stored on the Evita server. You can therefore access your data at any time from any computer as long as you have an intenet connection.

 

Your data are protected from unauthorised access and interference

At Evita only authorised people have access to your data, i.e. you yourself and third parties you have authorised (e.g. family, doctors and specialists). Employees of Evita Ltd or other organisations do not have any access.

Your data are optimally protected on the Evita server. The server is housed in a secure Swisscom computer centre. All data transmitted from the Evita server to your computer are coded, so that no-one can see your data and they cannot be interfered with.

 

Date protection and privacy

The protection of your data and privacy are Evita's top priority. You yourself are the owner of your data and only you and the people authorised by you, such as family,doctors and specialists, have access to your details. Evita adheres strictly to the Data Protection Act and Data Protection Ordinance.
